Although one of the hardiest and wind-resistant quinces, Serbian Gold may not fruit in the coldest areas, and will do best planted in a warm, sheltered site.

Site: Sheltered
Soil: Any well drained soil
Position: Full sun
Pick: Late September
Keep: October–November
Hardiness: Hardy
Pollination: Self-fertile; Pollination Group 2
Uses: Cooking, preserving, liqueurs

Learn more about fruit tree rootstocks
"}

The fruit is red, conical to globular and sweet. The typical raspberry leaves are deep green, turning yellow in autumn. Pretty white flowers, attractive to pollinators, are borne in spring. Self-fertile, you will get an autumn crop on the top third of the cane, and a crop the following summer on the lower two-thirds, so don’t cut the canes back in late winter; after the summer crop, cut back the canes. Alternatively, cut back the canes after the first hard frost to get a bigger crop in autumn.

Site: Sheltered, sunny site
Soil: Fertile, light, well-drained, acid soil
Position: Full sun
Pick: July, from August
Keep: Does not keep, but freezes well
Hardiness: Hardy
Pollination: Self-fertile
Uses: Eating fresh, cooking

You can learn more about how to plant and care for raspberries and starting with fruit in our advice section and on our resources page.

["Berries
"option1":"Pot | 2L","option2":"1 Cane","option3":null
["Pot | 2L","1 Cane
["//future-forests.myshopify.com/cdn/shop/products/RaspberryHeritage.jpg?v=1645800295","//future-forests.myshopify.com/cdn/shop/products/RaspberryHeritage2.jpg?v=1645800295
//future-forests.myshopify.com/cdn/shop/products/RaspberryHeritage.jpg?v=1645800295
Type | Size","Quantity

Raspberry Heritage

An ever-bearing raspberry giving an autumn crop and then a summer crop the following summer, Rubus idaeus Heritage is an upright, deciduous, rather thorny shrub with upright canes. The large, firm fruit is quite a light red, with a sweet, delicious flavour, and is high in fibre, Vitamin C and anti-oxidants. The canes will need to be trained onto post-and-wire supports or a wired wall or fence. The plant fruits on one year-old wood; it is best to tie the fruiting canes on one side of the support, and the younger canes bundled up on the other. Once all the fruit is picked, cut back fruited canes to the ground and spread out and tie in this year’s canes to fruit next year. Keep well watered at flowering and fruiting time. Raspberries have a suckering habit, and it’s a good idea to plant them in a bed surrounded by grass, so the suckers can be mown off.

Site: Sheltered, sunny site
Soil: Fertile, well-drained, humus-rich, neutral to slightly acidic soil
Position: Full sun
Pick: late July to late August
Keep: Does not keep, but freezes well
Hardiness: Very hardy
Pollination: Self-fertile
Uses: Eating, jam, cooking

You can learn more about how to plant and care for raspberries and starting with fruit in our advice section and on our resources page.
"}

The fruit is huge, red, conical and sweet. The typical raspberry leaves are deep green, turning yellow in autumn. Pretty white flowers, attractive to pollinators, are borne in spring. Self-fertile, you will get an autumn crop on the top third of the cane, and a crop the following summer on the lower two-thirds. Plant in soil-based, ericaceous compost.

Site: Sheltered, sunny site
Soil: Fertile, light, well-drained, acid to neutral soil
Position: Full sun
Pick: July, and from September
Keep: Does not keep, but freezes well
Hardiness: Hardy
Pollination: Self-fertile
Uses: Eating fresh, baking

Watch a short video about Raspberry Twotimer Sugana Yellow from the plant breeder: https://youtu.be/yT3SjagONCY

Watch a short video about pruning Twotimer Sugana Raspberries: https://youtu.be/zXzFhkMSivo and here https://youtu.be/tCuFXLr9QHo

You can learn more about how to plant and care for raspberries and starting with fruit in our advice section and on our resources page.
"}
